Tawa lives and breathes rugby league, and his skills have taken him close to qualifying for the Western Australian Under 18's team. He's also naturally smart, particularly when it comes to maths, but his ADHD symptoms interfered with his ability to achieve his full potential both at school and in sport. Medication helped him to some degree, but he struggled with the side effects. Tawa's rebellious nature and sudden aggression caused by his condition have lead him into trouble more than once, and his parents send him to Sunbeam Academy to straighten out his behaviour. The Sunbeam approach, however, doesn't sit well with Tawa, and it's only a matter of time before he cracks.
