Daniel

Daniel is a piano virtuoso, having learned to play by ear at three. He was also diagnosed with autism at this age. Seeing his talent, Daniel's mother set up a YouTube channel showcasing his piano skills, and the charming young boy who seemed so much older than his years was quick to win viewers. Throughout his primary-school years, all Daniel did was schoolwork and play piano, as his mother capitalised on his fame. He performed on TV and radio, charmed TV hosts and recorded an album. All the while, his mother concealed the awkward aspects of his autism, but this couldn't last forever. An unscripted comment during a TV interview brought Daniel's career crashing down, and his father turned to Sunbeam Academy with the hopes they could repair some of the damage. Little did he know how the vulnerable position he'd put his son in.
